Psychedelia’s never dead…it’ s alive n’ kicking in Kavala_Greece. Nαι, την ωραία Καβάλα. Dead Ends…North winds, psychedelic waves.
Listening to The Dead Ends‘ new album Distant Shores (out on Sound Effect) takes you back to the sounds of the past_ but that’ s not their story:
There are new turns and fresh ways, there is a whole new scenario for the listener to explore in Distant Shores.
A fire is burning in the band all throughout the album. A powerful trio, connected with rock myths in a poetic meaningful way.
They dive in an adventure of sounds, inspired, among other things, by Greek musical landscape, manifesting in their songs like pollen grains from the flowers.
‘To Those Who Left’, ‘Dreams are Dead’ ‘Imaginary Friend’, ‘ Peackock’s 100 Eyes’, … my personal favorites from the album. What’s yours?
