Lost In Stars (Dylan Willoughby) is making waves again from the other side of the ocean.
New music, sounds and images – a whole new reality of his artistic world. Lost in Stars is back with FABULA, another chapter of his creative process.
An artist with a strong and playful imagination, super fluent in electronic music language – its past and present. Dylan creates soundscapes of a nostalgic future. His compositions solid and inspired from a wide range of things.
At times, you feel like in a dream sequence of a David Lynch’s movie, elsewhere like in the permanent motion of Walt Whitman’s words (no surprise, Dylan is a poet himself, recent book “Le Festival des Murmures”). Or coming from a rejuvenated soundtrack of the 80s futuristic cinema.
Based in Los Angeles, Dylan has also worked with Kid Moxie (Helena Charbila), producing inspired music. And it would be really nice to see him sometime in Athens, playing his music live.
“Wand”, one of the most seductive tracks of Fabula, has a new video, directed by Dylan Willoughby himself, like an old movie playing in the backstage of our conscience – the hidden stories of the city’s spectacles, the moments of preparation before the musicians hit the notes, the magic of the moment happening, the games our mind plays, the three flying hats liked having escaped from the Master and Margarita…orchestrated by a magic Wand.
